The Energy Art Movement has launched an initiative to promote Green, Renewable, Clean Energy with the use of Dynamic, Energetic, and Visionary Art. The Green Energy Project was publicly announced on April 22nd and counts with the acknowledgment  of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Members of the movement have been working on their entries and so far we are all really excited with what promises to be a breakthrough collaboration. All entries will be featured at the Energy Art Movement's website on World Environment Day (June 5). Gallery exhibits are yet to be announced. With this project we are taking a collective stand to raise consciousness and provide a vision for sustainable alternatives for energy production. It's time to say goodbye to petroleum and petrochemicals!

I've been tirelessly working on my entry as the semester comes to a close, amidst nights with few hours of sleep, papers, grading, and a wonderful gallery opening last weekend... Stay tuned for more!
